MASS Update Instructions



Preparations for versions of 2020 and older

In case your version of MASS is from before 2021 the following preparatory steps are required.
  1. Download the file MassUpdateTools.zip using this link.
  2. Extract the content of the file MassUpdateTools.zip into the existing folder C:\Mass.
Once the files of the zip file have been extracted to the right location you can run the command Mass_Update.bat from the folder C:\Mass\Startup.


Updating MASS

You can update the installed version of MASS or add/modify specific MASS modules by running the MASS update script. This can be done by invoking the command Mass_Update.bat located in the folder C:\Mass\Startup. It is also possible to invoke the update script by selecting Help-->Update System from within MASS.

By selecting one of these options the following terminal window will appear:

The available options are dependent on the installed license file.

To update MASS or to install/update a specific MASS module, select the number of the entry, press <Enter> and follow the printed instructions.
